Welcome to Footloose Crawley

Us & you at Footloose Crawley

A Diverse Group with a Common Passion

Catherine, a proud alumna of Trinity Laban, class of 2021, holds the conviction that dance is a universal language that should be accessible to all.

She views dance as a vibrant medium for uniting communities and a significant channel for self-expression, transcending age and background barriers.

Engaging with such a dynamic and passionate ensemble of dancers and volunteers is both a delight and an honour for her.

All In! Inclusive Ballet for everyone

Last summer Catherine engaged herself in a project with National Youth Ballet to recreate a performance of Romeo and Juliet with an integrated cast of disabled and non-disabled dancers as part of their "All In" scheme. This clip is from the ballet.
This year National Youth Ballet will run three inclusive ballet classes in Brighton this summer that are open to all. From 10-11.15 am, they will take place on 28th, 29th and 30th August at The Dance Space, Brighton.
Dancers from any background can join – prior experience in ballet is not required! Catherine will be there as part of her work for National Youth Ballet meaning there will be at least one friendly face already known to you.
Classes cost £8 but financial assistance opportunities including bursaries exist. If you’re interested, message Catherine 07840749796 or catherinesleemanfreelancer@gmail.com so she can help set up what needs to be done with NYB in terms of access requirements.
